Sweet Auburn
As an outgrowth of the Imagine Downtown development plan, Urban Collage was given the task of updating the 1994 Redevelopment Plan for Butler-Auburn. The firm has a long-standing relationship with the neighborhood and an intimate knowledge of the issues facing this most historic of districts, the ‘Sweet Auburn’ of John Wesley Dobbs and Martin Luther King Jr. The Butler-Auburn Update focuses on thirteen catalytic projects to combine economic development with historic preservation in a detailed package that includes project proformas and three-dimensional visualization, along with recommended zoning modifications to the outdated MLK Landmark District.
Perimeter Focus LCI Update
After achieving resounding success in implementing projects identified in the 2001 Perimeter Focus LCI Plan, (over $500 Million in ongoing public improvements and 7 planned mixed use developments), the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts (PCID's) are one of the first communities to update their LCI Plans. Urban Collage is working with the PCIDs to oversee new transportation and development plans, analyzing market demand and collaborating with local government authorities to implement a TOD overlay district in Perimeter Center.
Suwanee City Hall

Urban Collage, Inc. recently completed a space needs assessment for the City of Suwanee’s administrative departments including the Suwanee Police Department.  The study focused upon documenting existing space usage and projecting and accommodating future space needs over the next five to ten years.  Study findings resulted in a proposal for constructing a New City Hall, modifying the existing City Hall to accommodate the Suwanee Police Department and modest renovations of other city facilities to improve efficiency and functionality.
