Robert Begle, Principal
Mr. Begle is a principal and co-founder of Urban Collage, Inc. Mr Begle has over 18 years of experience in residential design and community planning including significant experience with the City of Atlanta’s pre-Olympic preparations. In his role as the firm’s primary designer, Mr. Begle has conducted a wide range of design and planning activities including urban redevelopment plans, community master plans, housing and feasibility studies, facility master plans and architectural design. Mr. Begle’s comprehensive approach to design seeks to create communities and places that are functional, attractive and holistic.
Stanford Harvey, AICP, Principal
Mr. Harvey is one of the founding Principals of Urban Collage, Inc. and possesses over 17 years of experience in redevelopment and planning. Building upon both his background in architecture and city planning and his work for the City of Atlanta in the years preceding the 1996 Olympics, Mr. Harvey has served as Principal-In-Charge of a wide variety of firm projects. His specialty is conceptualization of planning processes, facilitating community participation, directing facilities/ infrastructure programs and developing implementation strategies.
Eric S. Bosman, AICP, Associate Principal
Mr. Bosman has assisted a variety of public and private clients as a facilitator, planner and project designer. Capitalizing on his training in architecture and urban planning, Mr. Bosman specializes in community, educational and development planning and has completed numerous campus and community plans, facility plans and architectural programs. As a project manager, Mr. Bosman has assisted clients in managing multi-million dollar implementation programs. He is an accomplished instructor and has conducted multiple seminars on leadership skills, group dynamics and communications.
John Skach, AIA, AICP, Senior Associate
Mr. Skach is an associate of Urban Collage, Inc. and has over fifteen years of experience in the building industry. His development planning projects range from inner-city public housing redevelopments to suburban town centers, and encompass both site planning and development regulations. His background as a licensed architect translates into the capacity to visualize both urban form and constructability, while his involvement as adjunct faculty with the Georgia Institute of Technology has broadened his awareness of the need for individual views and collective creativity. He has also expanded his understanding of quality urban environments through research and teaching in Europe.
Dennis Madsen, Associate
Mr. Madsen has a background in architecture and has participated in the design and construction of a range of projects in the southeast including laboratory buildings, single-family and multi-family residential, hospitality, auditoria, automotive buildings and campus planning. He serves as the associate assisting with the design and pre-construction process for projects within the Atlanta Public Schools, with architectural and development planning, and with the survey and design of residential prototypes. His professional strengths lie in his broad experience with varied project types, and with his experience in all phases of these projects.
Matt Cherry, LEED GA, Associate
Mr. Cherry is an Associate at Urban Collage with a background in urban design, landscape architecture and graphic design. His professional work and experience ranges from urban revitalization studies and transit-oriented developments to detailed site plans and streetscape implementation. Having managed many planning efforts throughout Metro Atlanta, he focuses on the application of smart growth and sustainable design principles across a broad range of urban and rural settings.
Niti Gajjar, Senior Planner
Mrs. Gajjar graduated with a Masters degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati. Aside from her academic background in architecture and urban planning, she has worked on a multitude of projects in India, including various master plans for cities, towns, industrial areas and burgeoning rural areas. Niti will lend her talents to various land use and transportation corridor planning projects in the Urban Collage studio.
Soumi Basu, Planner
Ms. Basu joins the Urban Collage team, working out of the Lexington office. Soumi comes to us from the University of Cincinnati, and brings both an Architecture degree and a Masters in Community Planning. Soumi combines expansive computer skills with a highly refined design sensibility.
Louis Johnson, Planner
Mr. Johnson, who graduated from the University of Kentucky, draws from his background in landscape architecture and land planning to provide graphic and production support to various projects including redevelopment studies and campus master plans.
Eva Hare, Business Manager
Ms. Hare serves as the firm’s office manager in coordinating aspects of human resources, finance, project support, marketing and client relations.
